| When do we meet? |
The Hearing Loss Association-East Bay meets on the 2nd Saturday of the month. We socialize at 9:30 am, Announcements at 10:00 am, Presentation starts at 10:15 am. No meetings in July and August.

Driving
From San Francisco or Berkeley
Take I-580 east, exit at Broadway/Webster, and follow the signs to Webster Street. Bear right onto Webster Street, then turn right onto W. MacArthur Boulevard. To park, turn left onto Howe Street.
From Hayward
Take I-580 west, exit at Harrison/MacArthur. Go straight for four blocks. To park, turn right onto Howe Street.

We use a room loop and have an exceptionally clear amplifier system. Use the T-coils in your hearing aids.

Guests are always welcome. Come early to get a snack and acquainted. We serve the East Bay, including the communities of Alameda, Albany. Berkeley, El Cerrito, El Sobrante, Emeryville, Kensington, Oakland, Piedmont, Pinole, Richmond, San Leandro, San Pablo, and beyond.

Saturday, May 8, 2010 A time to share our successes that helped us cope with less-then-perfect hearing. AND, it's time to party and welcome summer! Bring a friend or two, share your favorite coping secret, and if you like, bring a plate of finger food to share. The session will be led by Barbara Bishop.

We are fortunate to have a Regional Park District, with many local parks. This month, a representative of East Bay Regional Parks will describe the Park's attractions that can be particularly valuable to us. We will also have an opportunity to learn what accommodations the District has made for hard-of-hearing people.
