SHHHasta Chapter Awards Program
The SHHHasta Chapter circulates a letter about their Awards Program to the schools and other appropriate places in January. Students must show that they are making good progress in school, must be deaf or hard of hearing, and must live in Shasta County . There is no set number of awards given out, as it depends on the number of qualified students who apply.
The amount of the awards is: grades 1 to 11, $100; graduating 12th graders, $500; and college students, $1,000 (can be renewed once).
