When do we meet?

The Mission Viejo Chapter of HLAA meets bi-monthly, September – May, on the second Monday of the month from 10:30 am - 12 noon . The Steering Committee meets on alternating months. There are no meetings in June and July. (See months and dates under Program below.)

Saddleback College offers two off-campus lipreading classes. The Monday class at the Murray Center , Mission Viejo , is awaiting a new lipreading instructor so this class is currently not meeting. The Thursday morning class meets at the Sylvester Center , Laguna Woods.

Directions

Murray Center is at the dead end of Veterans' Way (formerly Oso Viejo), which is 2 miles east of the #5 Freeway. Take the La Paz off ramp and go east, crossing Marguerite Parkway, and following La Paz for three lights. At Veterans' Way, go left, following the road by a large middle school. Veterans' Way ends at the Murray Community Center parking lot.

Parking There is plenty of free parking
Assistive Listening Devices

There is a good PA system in the room, and a wireless mike is used by the speaker and for audience participation. "Clear speech" is always encouraged. Captioning will be provided for meetings held in oversized rooms.
