When do we meet?	The Napa Valley Chapter of HLA meets the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 1:00 p.m. There are no meetings in July and August.
Directions	Whether north or south bound on Hwy 29, exit at Lincoln Avenue and drive easterly. Go past California Blvd (light) for about a third of a mile to the intersection at Jefferson Street (light). Turn right - you are now south bound. Go through the intersection at Hayes Street (light) on left (and E St on right) and watch for the southbound left turn pocket between B and A Streets. Enter the pocket. Enter the divided driveway and go past the older homes that line Jefferson Street to the parking lot. The Senior Center building is on your right—a modern single story concrete and timber building. We're in the Social Hall.
Parking
Assistive Listening Devices	This is a hearing accessible meeting. We have a Public Address system and loop, for those who have T-coils in their hearing aids. We also have several headphones for those without T-coils.
Invitation	We solicit and value outreach to the community. All are welcome. We provide an "Information Table" for the convenience of members and guests. Informal socializing occurs both before and after the program.
Program	Our chapter meetings usually include a guest speaker who will discuss a hearing loss subject, hearing problems and how to deal with them, information about personal assistive listening devices, and a general sharing of information and encouragement in coping with personal hearing loss. Coffee and refreshments are available after the meetings. Additionally, we encourage informal one-on-one sharing of information before and after meetings. Our June and December meetings are potluck, emphasizing the social rather than informational. Although a "mini-program" usually is provided, the emphasis is social and good fellowship.
